On top of the spectacular falls, you enjoy the view of the Nile’s perfected beauty. The Nile here compresses and squeezes itself from over 1 kilometer wide down through a seven meter canyon. The 43 meter drop of the falls creates a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of spray - the best sight of Nile. Also popular here is the game drive to view and take photographs of elephants, buffalos, waterbucks, hippos, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, the lucky groups also see the leopards, plus a variety of bird species. Do not miss the two-hour cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls from where appalling water escapes from the narrow gorge forming a great thunder. Along this 17 km Nile stretch you should view buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks, a lot of birdlife and the tooth some Nile crocodile. Historical sites are also responsible for much of the park's appeal, its beauty and name |
